1. Service Description
The website provides two main services:
- Direct Purchase: Based on package selection with applicable discounts on purchased items. Direct purchases are subject to return, exchange, and warranty policies provided with the purchased product. You can refer to the return and exchange policy here. If the product is unused, it will be returned without hesitation.
- Auction Bidding: Available through multiple methods:
- Auction ending at the final price
- Option to activate "Buy Now" feature minus the original displayed price multiplied by the auction price factor
- Waiting for unfinished auctions
- Payment based on bidding excluding the last bid price and bidding on it
CalakShop.com is a "penny auction" website and is a private platform that can only be accessed with membership. Users can bid on various products. The highest bidder wins the auction at the end of the specified auction period.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years of age or older to register and use the website.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password.
- The use of any automated tools (bots) or unauthorized programs for bidding is prohibited.
3. Bidding System
3.1 Purchase of Bids
Bidding is not free. You must purchase "bids" in advance in specific packages, with each bid having a specific cost, meaning each click to raise the price limit has a cost.
3.2 Ways to Obtain Bids for Auction Participation
There are four ways to obtain bids:
- Subscription Package: Through subscription packages with free bids
- Purchase Bid Packages: By purchasing bid packages from the package purchase window within the website
- Win Auction Packages: By winning auctions on bid packages
- Spin Wheel: Through the luck wheel, which allows you three consecutive attempts, then resets to the next day, or you can choose to watch promotional videos to resume three new attempts, and so on.
3.3 Bidding Process
Each time you place a bid (each time you use a click to bid), it will be deducted from your bid balance in exchange for raising the bid limit by one halala, and the price of the product offered in the auction will increase by [example: 0.01 SAR per click. Let's assume you entered the auction for the iPhone which reached a bid value of 50.80 SAR, when you bid on it with one click, the price becomes 50.81 SAR, and so on].
3.4 Time Extension
Each new bid placed in the final seconds of the auction will lead to time extension [example: last 15 seconds]. The arrangement is as follows:
- Usually, the time enters on the displayed product countdown from 72 hours, and bidding does not affect the countdown timer except in the last minute
- Every time a bidder clicks on the product, the time extends to the limit of 00:00:60 last seconds
- If you wait and the countdown starts to the last 30 seconds, each click extends the time and returns it to 00:00:30, opening the field for more bidders to enter
- If the bidder waits until the last 15 seconds, the timer returns to 00:00:15
- If no click occurs until the timer drops to the last ten seconds, the time extension returns to 00:00:10 until the auction ends and is awarded to the last bidder
3.5 Winner
The user who places the last bid when the auction time ends wins the auction.
4. Risks and Responsibility
- You acknowledge and agree that the bids (clicks) you spend are non-refundable if you lose the auction.
- Participation in auctions involves risks, and there is no guarantee of winning the product. Your use of the website is at your own risk.
- CalakShop.com is not responsible for any financial losses that may result from your participation in auctions.
5. "Buy Now" Feature
- If you lose the auction, you may have the option to use the "Buy Now" feature to purchase the product at its full advertised price.
- If you choose to use this feature, we will deduct the value of bids (number of clicks) you spent on this auction from the final product price.
6. Payment and Shipping
- Auction winners must complete the payment process within [5 hours, otherwise the auction will be reopened again from the last bid price] of their win.
- Shipping costs are not included in the auction price and may be applied separately.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
- All content on the website (texts, images, logos, etc.) is the exclusive property of CalakShop.com.
- Copying, distributing, or modifying any part of the website without prior written permission is prohibited.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, violation of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Modifications
- CalakShop.com reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- We will notify you of any material changes via email or notification on the website.
